Jesus the Y'hudi - Restoring the 'WAY'

He was a Y'hudi (Jew)!

His Hebrew name was given to his Hebrew parents, Yosef and Miriam, by the messenger of YHVH/Y'hovah. His proper Hebrew name is Y'hoshua.

He lived as a Y'hudi

Now, when he went to Netzaret, where he had been brought up, on Shabbat he went to the synagogue as usual. He stood up to read, and he was given the scroll of the prophet Yesha`yahu. Unrolling the scroll, he found the place where it was written. Luqas (Luke) 4:16-17

He was called Rabbi by his talmidim.

Y'hoshua was a Jew by observing Jewish laws, customs, and traditions, including practices such as keeping kosher, celebrating Jewish moedim, and studying the Torah, as well as by attending the temple and synagogue. His teachings and actions were deeply rooted in the Jewish faith (Judaism) and culture of his time.

He didn't start a religion called Christianity!

His talmidim (disciples) called themselves Netzarim (Nazarenes) and they followed the 'WAY'.

The aim of this group is the 'WAY' of relationship and obedience, not Religion. This is a return to the Emunah/faith (Jude 1:3) once delivered to the Kedoshim (set-apart ones). The Hebraic foundations of both Brit-HaDashah (New Covenant) and Tanakh (The Scriptures). Also continuing in the original teachings of the Apostles in the book of Acts (Apostolic Writings) (Acts 2:42).

Note: Netzari (Nazarene) Emunah here is considered the same as what Rabbi Sha'ul-Paul called the sect known as The "Way" Acts 24:14 (Romans considered it a sect of Judaism, not Christianity).
Not to be confused with Orthodox/Rabbinic Judaism or Nazarene Christianity, which includes extra-biblical traditions or doctrines of men.
